Review:
Emilia King is just another ordinary girl that's entering her senior year at Santa Barbara University and this year she promised her roommate that she would stop "living in the library" and get out more this year.
Logan Prescott is the hottest guy in campus and he's also the heir of a billionaire hotel businness fortune. Emilia knows that she should stay away from him but when she looks into his eyes she can do nothing but fall for him, and the fact that he can quote her favorite literary works doesn't make it any easier to resist him.
These two very different people discover each other and find out how hard it can be to solve the challenge each represents for the other. Emilia knows being involved with Logan is dangerous but she also can't leave him.
It's not possible for me to describe exactly what kind of book this is. It has a great story and wonderful characthers but still, sometimes, I felt the storyline quivering a bit.
Emilia is an ordinary person and sometimes feels a little diminished in contrast with the almighty Logan. I do feel like the story approaches female insecurities in a new fashion as a woman discovers she's beautiful and that she's better than wath she tells herself she is.
This plot has many diverse characthers, since the perfect rich boy to the awful drug addict, and approaches the luxuries of higher social classes in contrast with the life of a simple girl.
My description of the plot is certainly not the best, since it is really complex and, if I said more than I already did, it might have given the whole story away.
If you love breathtaking romance novels, that still feel a little YA (though not much) and have really beautiful scenes then you should give this one a try!
