Shifting shadows, bonds of blood, and with their lives in danger … Marla is conflicted, relying on both Leif and Jack for support.
But who will she choose?
And can the three save Faera in time? - Goodreads

Review:
Having returned home, it seems that Marla has forgot all about her Faery Prince Leif, having started to date her best friend Jack... which she wasn't expecting.
A love triangle takes shape between Leif, Marla and Jack and things start to get rough, since Leif doesn't want to let Marla go and even dares to defy his father, King Telophy, in order to win back Marla.
Meanwhile, in Faera, more and more faeries seem to be the victims of a dark presence, adding to the tension that the royal family already lives. When Leif hears this he flies back to Faera, with Marla and Jack, hoping they can help to annihilate the threat.
While living this dangerous adventure, Marla feels conflicted between her feelings for both guys and starts to lean on both of them for support. Is that fair? She has to choose, but who will she choose?
Can they save Faera in time?
This is an exciting continuation to an already amazing story. I never thought I would like love triangles but this one was well placed and excellently handled!
Magical worlds and magical characthers are a must and this book has them, besides that the writing is beautiful and engaging. I have to admit that I was a little afraid that the story was a little cliché but it wasn't and that scored many points for me!
Through this book we dive deeper into the love story if Marla and Leif and what's been happening between them and their families and finally get a good glimpse at Faera!!!
This is an excellent book for fantasy lovers and, even if you aren't you should give them a chance because you're not going to regret it!

Summary:

Since man first walked the earth, the Angels of Moirai have watched over them. Born human, they are taught never to feel, never to become attached, and never to become emotionally compromised.
Eighteen-year-old Lila Kingston is haunted by dreams of a mysterious angel. Suddenly the dramas of her broken family and the snobby rich kids at her school fail in comparison to the challenges she must face.
Hailing from the Angels of Moirai, James Taylor has been entrusted with the fate of lives from around the world for over a thousand years. His sole purpose is to ensure every mortal follows their designated path, but when Lila puts that very purpose at risk, he must make a choice—a choice that ultimately leads to the devastating consequences of a love never meant to exist.
The choice was never easy. Those kind of choices never are…
Review:
*The publisher provided this book in exchange for an honest review through NetGalley.*
Eighteen-year-old Lila has been rejected by her parents and is currently dreaming about a  mysterious angel. She is shocked when she arrives to school one day and sees that angel standing in the parking lot.
James Taylor is an Angel of Moirar, he has been taught never to feel and only obey the Creator's ordeers, while assuring the fate of lives from around the world during over a thousand years. His only purpose is to assure that mortals follow their destiny. What he wasn't counting on was to fall in love with Lila, a mortal.
What will they do when their love wasn't supposed to happen?
This book has some problems in the begginning, despite the fact that the story has an enormous potencial it feels like it advances too quickly and there are some connective scenes missing. I love stories about love at first sight but this happenned way too quickly!
I'm not saying that the characthers are not interesting, because they are. Lila's familiar dynamic is all but normal and her mind is quite interesting, as it is discovering who James is and his story. I loved them and all the side characthers that make this story so beautiful.
The writing was ok, it had some repetitions where they weren't necessary but it wasn't anything very bad. The descriptions and the ambiance where very interesting and captivating.
I have to congratulate the author on her ability to mix several beliefs and create the Angels of Moirai!
Taking everything into account this book was good and the story too even though it had it's flaws so I'm planning on giving the next book a chance, I hope it will be better and I'm very curious to see what comes next for these two lovers.
This  is a good book to all YA fans who like books about angels and love! Give it a try because the story is very good and interesting!

Excerpt:

PLUMB STOOD in the driveway, hands on her hips, a piece of bright yellow paper in her hand. Cole groaned, exhausted, as he made his way toward her. The only light was a dim one above the door on the Brotherhood's front porch.
Plumb waved the paper in the air. "It's four fifteen in the morning, and I'm afraid to even venture why I received a notice for you to appear in front of the Warden later today. And Danny has nothing to say, which could only mean one thing—" Plumb looked him up and down. "With the condition you're in, I'm not sure I want to know where you've been."
"You probably don't." Cole held his hand out for the summons.
Plumb handed the paper over, scowling, and Cole slipped it, unopened, into his pocket.
"Are you going to tell me where you've been?"
"Thought you didn't want to know." He walked toward the porch. There was a time, when Cole was much younger, that he never would have spoken so bluntly to his Lead, but those days, buried by all of his new responsibilities within the Ward, had faded. They were close to equals now, even though Plumb was about fifteen years older.
“Cole."
"I'm tired as hell. I've been up all night." He turned to face her. "Okay? I need to get some sleep."
"What were you doing in the middle of the night that the Principals couldn't handle?"
"A girl."
"Excuse me?”
"No...I, no, I wasn't doing a girl. She just...never mind." He headed for the door, flustered. The last thing he needed to do was think about Kadence like that. His brain already went into some kind of jumble every time her name was mentioned, and it was bad enough that she'd had her hands all over him.
“You were with Tiffany? Until four in the morning?" Plumb sounded like a disapproving mother. "Cole, I understand you're seventeen, and boys—"
"I was with Kadence." He wished she would shut up.

"Minha Querida Inês" by Margarida Rebelo Pinto
The last days of the greatest Portuguese romantic heroine. A story that will make you fall in love, but also cry. You'll never see another love like this.
"Minha Querida Inês" (My Dear Inês) it's the outcome of a deep historic investigation mixed with Margarida Rebelo Pinto's passion for strong women, whose presence is noted in almost all of her work. The Inês protraited in this book is a brave and passionate and is not afraid to talk about her intimate life and her thoughts on love, family, God and the world.
Inês dies for love. If she wanted to steal the kingdom or she was just a victim of political unrest, we'll never know. The Inês that's in the book it's a whole woman, flesh and bone, with a head, a heart and a stomach, who feels and thinks ahead of her times and, for that, wise and timeless.

I chose this book because it's one of my favorites! I'm sorry if the synopsis isn't very good but I had to translate it from Portuguese. I know the cover seems to be missing the reds but you must notice the bodice of her dress and, in my copy, the title is in metallic red.
Cozy Jumper! It's finally cold enough to don warm, cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?

Twenty-two year old Ivy Morgan isn’t your average college student. She, and others like her, know humans aren’t the only thing trolling the French Quarter for fun… and for food. Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart.
Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. With forest-green eyes and a smile that’s surely left a stream of broken hearts in its wake, he has an uncanny, almost unnatural ability to make her yearn for everything he has to offer. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.
But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her—the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man demanding to lay claim to her heart and her soul.

Coats, Scarves and Mittens. The weather has turned cold and it's time to cover up. What's the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?
256683

When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder― much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing―not even a smear of blood―to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know...
Exotic and gritty, exhilarating and utterly gripping, Cassandra Clare's ferociously entertaining fantasy takes readers on a wild ride that they will never want to end.
Sooooo.... I know that, for you, this cover might not be embarrassing and awkward to read in public but you have to consider that, in my country, this is not a very known book series so when my friends saw this cover they asked me "What is that book about? Sex? Is that Erotica?". All of that because there is a shirtless guy on the cover. CLICK HERE to read my review of this book.

Review:
*The publisher provided this book in exchange for an honest review through NetGalley.*
A year has passed since Gaby Winters last saw her twin brother. That day was the day he was decapitated in a car crash with her in it. She has isolated herself in Pandanus Beach while she tries to surpass her grief.
It doesn't help that every night in her dreams she kills demons and other hellish creatures allongside a man she doesn't know. When Rafa comes to town and she notices he's exactly like the man in her dreams and he tells her stories about her brother that don't make any sense.
She's forced to accept that all she knew about herself is a lie and her life is all full of fabricated memories and that maybe her nightmares are hiding the truth. She has to find out who is Rafa and the Rephaim!
This book was so much better than I was expecting! I love books who talk about Nephilim, demons and demon hunting!
The main characther, Gaby, is so strong and fierce, and really rises up to the situation, even when her life is turn inside out. Her relation with Rafa is also very funny to read about, they have a very interesting dynamic and you're always learning new things about them.
This story is so good because it isn't unreal, it has so many common world elements that it feels real and it feels like you're living it as you're reading it.
A book that makes your mind wonder and your heart flutter without missing the sad parts of the story that are essential to keeping it real! I advise this book to everyone!
